Minnesota Conference
Pastor Jeff Scoggins Communication
New Conference President Jeff Scoggins is hoping to increase communication from the conference to all the church members in Minnesota. We have created two new options for keeping up with the news. First is “The Northern Light Extra,” which is an email newsletter directly from Pastor Scoggins that will arrive in your inbox at least monthly and sometimes more often. Subscribe at http://eepurl.com/iu3GJQ. The second option, if you are on Facebook, is to follow his page at Facebook.com/PastorJeffScoggins. You can at least try the options out and if you don’t find them useful, it’s easy to unsubscribe.

Book Donations Needed!
Our Hackensack SDA church Thrift Store, Share N Care, is looking to create an Adventist book store as a new means of outreach in their already established and thriving thrift store. They are looking for donations of Adventist books, Bibles, or financial help. Come visit the store or email gageblech77@gmail.com with any questions!
Minnesota Youth Conference
Behind the Scene of Faith – Join our Minnesota Youth Worship Conference on November 4 at Maplewood Academy. This interactive conference brings together high school students from all over Minnesota to share talents, faith, and discuss how to use their gifts for God. GLOW in the Dark
Prepare to join a growing number of churches for GLOW in the Dark Halloween outreach on October 31st. Help spread God’s love through GLOW tracks. There are three ways to get involved.
- Distribute GLOW tracks individually or with a group.
- Give kid friendly tracts to trick-or-treaters at your door.
- Pray for those on the front lines distributing GLOW.

Women’s Retreat
Our Women's Ministries Retreat will be held on November 3-5, 2023 at Arrowwood Resort Alexandria MN with our Keynote speaker DeeAnn Bragaw- the Women's Ministries Director at NAD.

Support the Ministries You Care About Through a Donor Advised Fund
Did you know that when you donate though a Donor Advised Fund (DAF) you can control when, how much, and where your funds will be distributed? When you fund a DAF, you can wait and let the fund grow until you are ready for distributions to be made, but still benefit from an immediate income tax deduction for the current tax year. It also allows your donation(s) to remain anonymous if you wish, and you can direct your funds to be distributed to as many or few organizations as you want either all-at-once, or over time.
