Employment Opportunities

 

The Minnesota Conference office is looking for a Payroll Clerk / Human Resources Generalist. This person must be mission oriented, value people, and be a committed Seventh-day Adventist church member in good standing. We are looking for someone who is willing to learn how to use various kinds of software with excellent customer service skills.  Openness to learning new things and being a team player is a must. The Minnesota Conference office is looking for an Executive Assistant to support the President and the Vice President for Administration. This person must be mission oriented, have excellent customer service and organizational skills, and comfortable with computers. Maplewood Academy has several positions currently available for the upcoming school year:

Head Girl’s Dean-

Maplewood is looking for a head dean to lead out in the dorm, foster a Christian environment that supports the girls, and teach a class aligned with their skill set.  This is a full-time position with benefits included.  The ideal applicant will have experience working with adolescent youth, a college degree, a practicing member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, and preferably have additional teaching certifications or endorsements.  Please email resume to james.davis@mnsda.com

 

IT Director/Teacher-

Maplewood is also looking for a full-time IT director to oversee MWA's technological initiatives, including server management and related systems. This individual will also be responsible for teaching STEM-related courses, inspiring and educating students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Join MWA and contribute to our mission of delivering innovative education supported by the MN Conference IT infrastructure.  The ideal applicant should have experience working with adolescent youths and a related college degree. Teaching certifications or endorsements (preferred). They should demonstrate expertise in information technology management, including network systems and server infrastructure and

Part-time Assistant Cook/Baker-

Responsibilities and Duties - Provide support to the head cook with preparing meals, handling leftovers, cleaning the kitchen, and baking weekly cinnamon and caramel rolls, birthday cakes, and other baked goods. Will be in charge of kitchen and student workers during the head cook's time off.

African Camp Meeting

The Twin Cities African camp meeting will be held at Bethel University on July 8th, 2023.  We have two guest speakers one for the morning hours (Doctor Josiah Ombati) and Doctor Clifford Jones in the evening hours. We have a bible study from Pastor Peter Kirimi Nyaga from Nairobi Central Church Kenya, Pastor Cornelius’ family life. The weekday venue from July 2nd to July 7th, is yet to be determined.

 

 

 

Women’s Retreat

Our Women's Ministries Retreat will be held on November 3-5, 2023 at Arrowwood Resort Alexandria MN with our Keynote speaker DeeAnn Bragaw- the Women's Ministries Director at NAD.
